A city-wide design event is accomplished by an entire community and it's volunteers.
Extensive Planning – The key to a successful event is scenario mapping and having multiple plans at play, for example, having a Plan A, Plan B, and sometimes a Plan C.
Collaboration – Teaming with people with an open mindset in an environment of constant change – communication is key.
Rapid Prototyping – Planning can only go so far without tinkering and testing. Site visits, communication plans, stakeholder meetings, and countless nights of iteration.
Getting sh*t done – There is a defining point where you can reduce risk and have everything planned to get things done.
