Vancouver Design Week (VDW) is a collaborative platform, a call to action and an invitation to us all to immerse in design and its transformative potential. VDW's city-wide festival connects and celebrates our city's creative capital through a week-long program of design events and experiences. HAO has produced experiences and campaign graphics since 2014 to present.

A city-wide design event is accomplished by an entire community and it's volunteers.
Extensive Planning – The key to an event is through planning and having all possibilities throughout, for example, having a Plan A, Plan B, and sometimes a Plan C.
Rapid Prototyping – Planning can only go so far without iteration and testing. Site visits, communication plans, stakeholder meetings, and countless nights of iteration.
Collaboration – Teaming with people with an open mindset in an environment of constant change and uncertainty alongside communication is key.
Getting sh*t done – There is a defining point where you can reduce risk and have everything planned to get things done.
